Do I need to wear anything specific for the lesson?
Comfortable clothing will do; however, do think about things like how baggy trousers and/ or a skirt/ dress can get caught in a chain (if your chain is exposed on your bike). In terms of shoes, wear something you are comfortable wearing i.e. – that won’t slip off easily. Dress weather-appropriate – it does like to rain here, sometimes…..
Do I need my own bike?/ Do you provide bikes?
For a learn to ride session, yes – I have a small fold-up bike that I can bring anywhere. Otherwise, the lesson will have to be local to Nijkerk for me to provide a bike. There are some hire bike options we can explore in various of the larger Dutch cities….
Do I need to wear a helmet?
Completely up to you…
What happens if it rains?
We chat about it and decide what do – if we cancel, providing good communication is kept, we can easily rearrange.
